Preventive and Diagnostic Dentistry:

DIAGNOdent allows our dentists to find decay more quickly and accurately than with conventional sharp metal instruments. We use a move a laser beam along your teeth to catch areas of decay before they become problematic.

Pierson Dental Associates also uses intraoral cameras to view all surfaces of your teeth, reducing the need for X-rays. Our pen-sized camera will project an image of your teeth on a monitor, allowing you and your dentist to make informed decisions about your dental care.
