New Patient Information

Your First Visit

When you come to see us for the first time, we’ll make every effort to get to know you as a person as well as learn about your dental health. You’ll be greeted at the door by one of our staff, and soon you’ll be in a treatment room talking to Dr. Pierson. He likes to play a game with new patients where he tries to find 3 things he has in common with them, and he hasn’t lost yet! He’ll then ask you to talk about your teeth, your past dental experiences, and what you’d like for your smile in the future. During this time, one of our team members will be taking notes so we can always keep your goals in mind when performing any treatments.

You’ll then have a variety of x-rays and digital photos taken, and you’ll actually receive 9 images of your teeth after your appointment. These are great for both patient education and insurance billing purposes. You’ll then get a dental cleaning, a screening for gum disease, and a standard oral exam. Dr. Pierson will then gather all of this information and come up with your own customized long-term treatment plan.

Patient Forms

Many practices offer to let you download their patient forms so you can fill them out at home. As convenient as this might seem, many patients end up forgetting to bring them and just have to fill them out again. With Pierson Dental, you can fill out all of your patient forms right here electronically. They’ll go directly to our office, and you’ll be able to fly through your appointment even faster.

Insurance Accepted

Our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork. We’ll work with you and your insurance provider to make sure you understand how to use your benefits.

Please let us know if you have any questions about your insurance coverage; and let us know how we can help to make your entire dental experience a pleasant one.

Many people are under the impression that if they have dental insurance, they will not have any additional expense at the office. This is often not true. Dental insurance is not designed to cover all of your dental expenses, and most plans have a deductible and co-pay for most services.

Dental Savings Plan

Many families do not have dental insurance and paying for dental care out-of-pocket simply isn’t an option. Normally, they would need to make a choice between their budget and their dental care, but thanks to our Dental Savings Plan, they no longer have to! For just one flat-fee, you and your family can be completely covered for basic preventive services and receive deep discounts on more involved procedures (including orthodontics!). It gives you all of the benefits of dental insurance without any of the restrictions. Click on the link below to learn more about all of the benefits.
